Towing Mirrors

I don't have photos for this one. I tried 2-3 types of the clip on mirrors and none of them worked well. They vibrated so much I couldn't see anything. I tried bungee cords, weights, more support, etc to stabilize them and nothing worked.

I kept hearing about McKesh mirrors but I thought they cost too much for mirrors. One day will browsing at my local RV suppy store, I noticed they had a set for about $120.00. I'm big on safety and also after spending $15,000 to $20,000 on an RV no one should complain about spending a little extra money to make use of that RV safer and more enjoyable.

I bought the mirrors and they are worth every penny. I can put them on the truck in less than 2 minutes. They come off quicker than that. They are very stable.

The mirrors are rectangular and mounted in a horizontal position. I made an angle bracket and remounted the mirrors in a vertical position. This gives me a good view of the tires on the Wildcat as well as the traffic behind.

They did not come with the optional convex mirror. I bought those from a Wal-Mart and installed them myself.
