I purchased an air horn kit for about $200. It consist of dual air horns, a 1 gallon air tank and a 12 volt compressor.

There is no place under the hood to mount the air horns. Some people mount then cross ways behind the bumper but I decided to mount then on the left frame rail just behind the transmission. I mounted the air tank there also. I mounted the air compressor to the top of the plastic cover of the power distribution box under the hood.

The air connection is in the mounting base of the air horns so it can not be mounted flush with the frame rail. I found a bracket at Home Depot that allowed me to mount the horns so I could also connect the air supply.

The horns are activated by a 12 volt solenoid. I connected the solenoid to the existing 12 volt horns.

Now when I hit the horn in the steering wheel the air horns are activated.
