Intro

I have plotted and planned this trip for months and now it begins. The main goal is to visit the Trinity atomic bomb test site in New Mexico. The site only opens twice a year and has been high on my bucket list. I will give more details about Trinity when I visit on Saturday.

Being newly retired, I am going to try to slow my pace a little since I don't have a "return to work" requirement any more. My GoPro Hero 10 camera seems to be working ok. I will still do these daily blogs so I can share photos and maps but most of the content will be in the daily video.

This is one of my favorite falls. It is easy to get a nice photo and a paved path leads from the parking area underneath the falls to the other side. Pretty neat!
