Flip Up Table

I never really used the flip up shelf in the bedroom for a TV. I heard that some folks had moved it into the kitchen area and mounted it to the side of the sink cabinet for extra counter top space. So I did the same thing.

This is one of the better things I've done to my Wildcat. I removed the brackets from the shelf and remounted them wider so they would mount near the sides of the cabinet. Also I slid them back about 1/2" so I could butt them up underneath the counter top. This permits the flip top to swing up with the bottom of the shelf flush with the bottom of the counter top. This makes the top of the shelf almost flush with the top of the counter. Refer to the photos for more clarification.

It takes about 5 seconds to raise or lower the shelf when preparing food and it is self storing. I don't have to detach it and find a place to store it.

Thanks to the person who first came up with this idea.
