Water Filter

My Forest River Wildcat had a water filter and I really liked it. I remember as a kid when we would travel across country, each day the water smelled and tasted different. Sometimes the chlorine was pretty strong.

In the Wildcat I used the two pack of carbon filters from Lowes which costs about $10. With that filter, the water always tasted the same. Our Keystone Copper Canyon and Cougar 325SRX did not come with filters, but it was easy to add one. I got the cheap plastic whole house filter from Lowes. They also have the hose and fittings to rework the plumbing. Mine is set up so that the water from both the onboard tank and the hose connection go through the filter.
