I originally planned to ride another curvy mountain road but I had enough of that yesterday. I decided on fast and straight and left before 6:00AM as I wanted to see the sunrise and needed to get in some miles today. I was rewarded with one of my favorite photos of this trip.
I visited White Sands National Monument then the gravesite of Ham the first chimp in space.
I am staying the same motel we were in last Sunday. I even asked for and received the group rate we had.
The next three days are now just about putting miles behind me until I get home. I plan to eventually post a short 3-5 minutes video of the entire trip that I think everyone will enjoy.
