Scarlett The Squirrel

Today was a slow easy day. We left a campground in southern Oregon and drove up the coast. The sun was out and the temperature stayed at 58 degrees with a stiff breeze. The air was clear and the scenery was gorgeous. I may have to return here someday.

This post is for my brother Greg. Greg is a new convert to the Harley Davidson lifestyle. He has the motorcycle, the bling and the tattoo. We stopped at the Flying Dutchman Winery this afternoon in Otter Rock, Oregon. We tasted a few wines and purchased a nice Chardonnay. Then we noticed the owner's tee shirt.

About that time Scarlett strolled into the store. The owner and a customer who seemed to be a friend called to Scarlett and offered her treats. She accepted a treat from Laurie's hand. Scarlett was the fattest squirrel I have ever seen. She was very tame and seemed right at home in the store.

it was a neat little quirky experience in a fun place so I had to get photos of the owner's tee shirt for my brother.
