Sliding Rock Jr, North Carolina

Jun 23, 2009 Tue0
We have been here many times over the years. This may be our favorite spot in the North Carolina Mountains. I don't know if it has a name but we call it Sliding Rock Jr. It is only a few feet from the road and seems to be a favorite spot with the locals. There are always several families here just having a blast. Part way down the slide is a hole that kids like to slide or jump into. The pool at the bottom of the slide is not deep so even non swimmers can enjoy the water. This has always been a fun place for us.
